In other countries it goes day/month/year....
Anyways, two passenger planes crashed into the world trade center aka the twin towers in NY on September 9, 2001. Most people wont personally remember it since it was 11 years ago.
All in all, it was a terrible event and many lost their lives. Adam, I say go ahead, just dont build it too close to spawn in case some people are offended. I dont know how they would be, but sometimes people on the internet are weird.

why do people do it as month/day/year? that makes no sense. size order A.K.A day/month/year is just easier.

And who is making a memorial for the roughly 90.000 killed civilists in the Iraq-war?

I would do that Para, but I'm not that good a builder. And as long as we are listing tragedies, what about memorials for the Titanic, Lusitania, the Holocaust?

True, but what about everyone?
it's because the Americans haven't been attacked in their own country for a VERY long time so unlike the rest of us they take it really badly.

We do not, I was just thinking we should do it thoroughly and empathize. Where are you from?

you say that like we shouldn't take it badly, i mean the towers, the pentagon (though it was not completley destroyed), and fortunetly they didn't hit the white house. those were all extremley important things in america. and tons of people died because of it.

i mean, say if something happened similar to something, say, big ben in london. i'm sure they would have greived over it for a good long while as well. with good reason, too.

the entirety of london has been burnt and bombed and attacked for hundreds of years. and i dont mean it like you shouldn't be sad just maybe consider other countries have had things worse happen to them *cough* *cough* hiroshima and nagasaki *cough* *cough*

i mean that that stuff in hiroshima happened because of them attacking pearl harbor, they brought it upon themselves. america wanted no part of the war...

Okay, this is what I was talking about. If you really want monuments for your countries, go ahead and build them. If ANY of them are disrespectful to ANYONE, they will be removed. We dont need arguments on this topic. You have the freedom to build whatever you want as long as you arent disrespecting anyone.
